Warranty Information – Sales of Items
LaptopsKC offers a warranty on most items sold.

Standard Warranty: Most items include a 90-day repair or replacement warranty when purchased at the full sticker price.

Discounted Purchases: Items sold at a negotiated lower price may have a shorter warranty period, determined at checkout.
- Return Policy: All items sold have a 3 day return window for items paid at sticker price. Item must be return in the same condition as purchased.
If your item fails within the warranty period, LaptopsKC will repair or replace it with the same model or comparable hardware.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Damage from drops, liquid spills, overheating due to improper use (e.g., left on inside a bag), or exposure to harsh environments.

Damage caused by disassembly, unauthorized repairs, adding/removing hardware, or using improper power supplies, adapters, or batteries.

Use in dusty, smoky, or otherwise unsuitable environments.

Software issues caused by viruses, spyware, or unauthorized changes.

Microsoft Windows activation or stability problems caused by user modifications.

Issues resulting from unsafe internet browsing or downloading.

Removal of pre-installed files or software.

Installation of harmful or incompatible software.
Software Warranty
LaptopsKC warrants the initial installation of software provided with your purchase. However, we do not guarantee:

That installed antivirus software will prevent all viruses or spyware.

Continued software stability after unauthorized changes or installations.
Any changes to system software or hardware that affect performance or activation will void the software portion of the warranty.

Customers who purchase from LaptopsKC may bring their item in for free diagnostics at any time in the future. If repairs are needed, we offer discounted repair rates for past customers.
